Did you buy an external drive? Because I did 🙂 But then I needed to get something out of it, but it was damaged and I lost very important files, now I don’t trust them anymore. I started looking for an alternative and now I store all my video files using the archiving solution from ShareArchiver. Here you can transfer large video files to the archive, keeping instant access to them without overloading the main drives and now my laptop doesn’t turn off or heat up as soon as I open my files.
