Federal Action Trackers and Resources for State Legislators

Many of the recent Trump administration’s actions and actions taken by DOGE are having direct impacts on rural communities, farmers and states. As the Trump administration’s early actions began to reshape national policy—particularly in ways that impacted rural communities, farmers, and state-level governance—state legislators stepped up to defend their constituents and values. From attacks on environmental protections to sweeping changes in food and agriculture policy, the administration has set a clear authoritarian agenda.

Below are resources and trackers on recent federal administrative actions to support state legislators in pushing back against these harms. 

• The Litigation Tracker by Just Security tracks legal challenges to executive orders and other actions by the administration.

• Project 2025 Tracker gathers information about the Trump administration’s progress in achieving their Project 2025 goals.

• Watchdog group The Revolving Door Project published several new trackers and resources monitoring the activities of this administration including: environmental cuts and rollbacks, corporate corruption calendar, and a breakdown of who is capitulating to the administration’s pressure campaign.
